History

History of the Moringa Plant:

Moringa Oleifera is the most widely cultivated of 13 Moringa species. Native to the southern foothills of the Himalayan Mountains , this rugged, hardy plant is now grown in most countries of the Tropics. Among the world's most useful plants, the Moringa tree was highly valued by the Greeks, Romans and Egyptians as early as 2000 BC for its medicinal properties. The Moringa tree has only recently been rediscovered as a plant with remarkable potential and importance. There is an old Indian proverb that claims, “Moringa leaves prevent 300 diseases.” Modern Science is now proving that these tiny leaves are packed with incredible nutrition that can strengthen our bodies and prevent deficiencies. The World Health Organization has been promoting Moringa as an alternative to imported food supplies to treat malnutrition since 1998. Its ability to purify water, nourish a starving body, and grow from a seed or cut branch into a 15 foot tree in one year gives this incredible plant the power to have a long lasting impact on our world.

Tiny Leaves, Huge Benefits:

Moringa is a powerful discovery that can make a significant difference in the health and life quality of millions of people. It is best known as an excellent source of many nutritional essentials, and as a natural energy booster. Nutritional analyses indicate that Moringa leaves contain a wealth of essential, disease-preventing nutrients. Since the dried leaves are concentrated, they contain higher amounts of many of these nutrients, except vitamin C. With its high levels of vitamins, minerals, and amino acids, Moringa replenishes the body and helps it to heal and rebuild.
